#01.000 And the moon watched over
String #01.000
I've left my home for good which presumably is the only possible way to set things right for everyone and prevent any more trouble. Now I wish to explore unusual geographical terrains. So here I am at Okavango Delta. The moon looks like an enormous white orb. I assume it to be closest to the earth right now. The hours of walk is making me drowsy. I reach for my canteen only to discover that it's out of water. I walk a few steps further and climb up a hill. What I see before my eyes is a wrecked house, a rivulet, faint specks of yellow light at the horizon and a vast wasteland. Maybe it is a village on the horizon. I slide down the hill and land right in front of the wreck. I pick myself up and walk towards the rivulet to quench my thirst. It is the bluest river I've ever seen and the most saline water I've ever tasted. It seems as if diamond studded blue velvet is flowing right in front of me. I turn back to the moonlit mud house to spend the night.
I find the main entrance and walk in. I see flames shimmering on the floor. Maybe someone lives here. From the inside the house is like a tomb. It is faintly illuminated by the flames that seems to rise from underneath the floor. There are pagan symbols all over the wall as if it is a place of ritual practices. But now the house is torn down. Maybe there was an assault and whosoever lived vamoosed. As I step in further I can see the enormous white orb through the ceiling. It seems to be compensating for the shattered roof top. All this creates an eerie surrounding. I walk down the nave which ends in an inferno. Whatever caused the flames is probably in hypogeum. It seems as if a dormant volcano is ready to erupt. But only there is no lava, just pure fire. There is something peculiar about it, something so inexplicable that I cannot resist stepping towards it. What possibly could have caused it, well I can hardly say. I feel its warmth thawing me. I am too enervated to think of the unusual place. Whosoever was here is gone now and I am safe as long as I'm alone. I lie in front of the inferno and wear the calm white light from the white orb and fall asleep.
I'm safe as long as I'm alone. :) so much depth!! Long way to go yaar (y)
